Vodafone PNG now offers you a Voicemail system whereby callers can leave a message if you are unable to answer the call. A call will be forwarded to the Voicemail System upon one of the four scenarios:
Voicemail is a spoken message recording left by a caller on a voicemail system. After the caller leaves a voicemail, an SMS notification will be sent to the recipient user. Voicemail is a standard feature free of charge for all Vodafone PNG mobile users.
Allows customers to listen to voicemail messages and to personalize their voicemail greetings and options.
Dial 129 and follow the voice prompts.
"You have [number of messages] not saved message(s)"
"You have received a message from [mobile number] on the [date] at [time]”.
"You have [number of messages] saved message(s) in your mailbox"
"You have received a message from [mobile number] on the [date] at [time]”.
You will be notified via a TXT message when someone leaves you a message on voicemail. To check your voicemail messages just dial 139 and follow the voice prompts.
If you have no messages then you'll get the following prompt.
"No new messages”. To go to main menu press *.
If you do have messages then it will be played from latest to oldest.
"You have [number of messages] new message(s) in your mail box"
"You have received a message from [mobile number] on the [date] at [time]”.
This is followed by the actual voice message. After each message is played the following options are provided.
Once all messages have been checked you'll get a reply saying there are no more messages. The IVR system will inform the user to press * to go back to the Main Menu.
