The collaboration enables Vodafone PNG to integrate Starlink’s advanced low-earth orbit (LEO) satellite technology into its enterprise connectivity portfolio, complementing its existing mobile network services. Starlink’s high-speed, low-latency satellite internet is designed to deliver reliable connectivity in remote and hard-to-reach locations, where traditional telecommunications infrastructure can be both challenging and costly to deploy. This capability will play a critical role in extending coverage across Papua New Guinea, bridging long-standing connectivity gaps and improving access to digital services in underserved areas.

Vodafone PNG’s appointment as an authorised enterprise reseller means customers benefit from a fully managed, end-to-end service model that covers solution design, deployment, network integration, and ongoing support. Backed by strong local expertise, Vodafone PNG delivers tailored connectivity solutions that enable organizations to seamlessly integrate satellite services into their operations, whether as a primary connection or as a resilient backup, thereby strengthening business continuity and operational performance.

Commenting on the partnership, Pradeep Lal, Regional Chief Executive Officer of Vodafone PNG, said, “This partnership with Starlink is a transformative step in our journey to deliver world-class, cost-effective connectivity solutions across Papua New Guinea. The announcement builds on Vodafone PNG’s ongoing network expansion program, supported by a PGK 400 million capital expenditure investment aimed at enhancing network coverage, reliability, and customer experience. This investment supports the continued rollout of infrastructure nationwide, enhancing data and voice capacity, delivering improved service quality, and expanding access to reliable and cost-effective telecommunications services. This project is expected to be completed by December this year. The addition of Starlink’s satellite capability further strengthens this investment by extending Vodafone’s reach beyond the limits of traditional terrestrial networks and accelerating nationwide connectivity outcomes.

Vodafone Red was on fire in their 7–1 masterclass against Credit Bank and a 6–1 demolition of team PC Heartbeat!

Vodafone Grey stayed incredibly tough to break down, finishing strong with a 5–1 win over PC Pulse and a nail-biting 2–1 victory over Datec Byte in Game 24.
