POM Softball Team

Port Moresby Softball has not had a proper season in 2 years due to the COVID-19 restrictions thus the Port Moresby Men’s Softball Association created the Fast 5 Softball Tournament as an attempt to bring back the passion and excitement for the code once again. It is called the “Fast 5” because it is a “faster” game with only 3 innings and will run over “5” weekends. 11 teams have signed up to compete in the Fast 5 Tournament and will play round 3 this weekend at the Bisini Softball Diamonds. Vodafone PNG has come on board to support the Power Rangers and the Hornets with much needed uniforms. The teams are a mixture of male and female players with the competition being split into 2 pools.
Softball is also played in other parts of the country; Lae, Mt Hagen and Rabaul to name a few. Catch the Vodafone team at the Bisini Softball Diamonds this weekend doing SIM Registrations and selling Voda Kads (top-up).
