The Special Services Division (SSD) of the Royal Papua New Guinea Constabulary (RPNGC) have units based all around the country and communication is a key factor to their operations.
The Southern Mobile Group based at the McGregor Police Barracks in Port Moresby were recent recipients of much needed laptops and a Vodafone Wi-Fi device loaded with 100GB of data plus exclusive Vodafone merchandise. Sgt James Tobata when receiving the donation from Vodafone said, “We are truly thankful to Vodafone PNG for this timely donation. These laptops will aid the need we’ve had for a long while now and assist us to coordinate our administrative affairs efficiently.
” Vodafone’s PR & Sponsorship Manager said, “Vodafone is all about connecting the unconnected and we are honoured to be able to assist these good men in blue with their daily operations. This is the start of a great partnership with the Police and we look forward to doing more work with them in the future.”
