Christmas Under the Stars for Charity

Hilton Port Moresby will be hosting its fourth ‘Annual Christmas under the Stars for Charity’ this year on the 18th of December 2022. The event is organized by the hotel team members as a way of extending the light and warmth of hospitality to families, local communities and their charity of choice.

All proceeds of this event will be donated to the Cheshire DisAbility Services. Cheshire DisAbility Services is one of the leading service providers for children/persons with disabilities or those who may be at risk of developing a disability. The organization aims to make a positive difference in the lives of their patrons by creating opportunities for Social Inclusion, and an environment in which they are treated with dignity and respect.

The event is open to the public and will be hosted at Hilton Port Moresby’s Amphitheatre from 5:30pm –9pm. Entry will be upon donation in kind or through the purchase of raffle tickets. There will be volunteer entertainment from group choirs to solo performers, singing, dancing, story plays, magic acts and a special visit from Santa.

The hotel has partnered with various business houses through donations and is looking forward to producing yet another successful show this year. Vodafone’s PR & Sponsorship Manager, Charmaine ToRobert said, “Christmas is a time for giving and we are more than happy to donate devices to this event.
